Calogen Emulsion Neutral is a high energy, long chain triglyceride fat emulsion. Calogen can be used to supplement or fortify the diet of people who are unable to meet their energy requirements from regular dietary intake. Calogen is suitable for people requiring electrolyte restrictions, can be used to replace milk in protein restricted diets and can be used as an energy enhancer in tube feeds and oral nutritional supplements.
Calogen Emulsion Neutral may be prescribed for the following indications: disease related malnutrition; malabsorption states, or other conditions requiring fortification with a high fat supplement with or without fluid and electrolyte restriction.

How to use
Shake Calogen Emulsion well before opening. Dosage should be determined by a clinician or dietitian and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. The recommended daily dose is 3 x 30ml unless specified by a clinician or dietitian. Can be taken undiluted or diluted with milk or water. It can also be mixed into foods. Neutral Calogen Emulsion is suitable for infants and children. It may need to be diluted for children under 5 years of age.
Ingredients
Vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), demineralised water, emulsifier (citric acid esters of mono and diglycerides of fatty acids).
