Eno contains three active ingredients Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid and Anhydrous Sodium which react in a glass of water to produce a formula that neutralises stomach acid.

Eno Salts are an effective treatment to relieve indigestion, nausea and flatulence. It’s been used as a soothing remedy for indigestion for over 150 years, so you can trust that this product will get to work fast to ease your discomfort.
Eno Salts may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not take this product if you are on a controlled sodium diet, or you have kidney or liver problems. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
How to use
Dissolve the powder in water before taking it.
Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 5g (one 5ml spoonful) in a glass of water. Repeat every 2-3 hours if necessary. Do not take more than six doses in 24 hours.
Check before you take Eno:
If: You have had an allergic reaction to Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid or Sodium Carbonate.
If: You are on a Sodium controlled diet. Each 5g dose contains 0.85g of sodium.
If: You have any liver or kidney problems.
If: You are under 12 years unless your doctor tells you.
Possible side effects:
Like all medicines, Eno can have side effects, but not everybody geets them. When used normally, there are no known side effects, however, if you do get any side effects consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Each 5g spoonful of Eno powder contains Sodium bicarbonate 2.32g, Citric Acid 2.18g, Anhydrous Sodium Bicarbonate 0.50g.
