Lanacane is a medicated, anaesthetic cooling cream which provides fast-acting relief from itching and irritation on the skin. How can Lanacane help to soothe itchy skin?
Lanacane contains the active ingredients, Benzocaine which works below the skin surface to anaesthetise the sensory nerves which prevents itching and irritating fast. The soothing formula has a cooling effect on irritated, dry or itchy skin caused by a variety of conditions including:
- Insect bites and stings
- Nettle stings
- Small cuts and grazes
- Chafing
- External vaginal and external anal itching
How to use this product
Always use this product as described in the patient information leaflet or as instructed by your doctor. Lanacane is for external, topical use by adults and children aged 12 years and over.
Application
Before use, pierce the tube seal using the spike on the cap. Apply the cream to the affected area. You can repeat the treatment, as needed up to 3 times per day for up to a week. If symptoms persist for more than one week, consult your doctor.
