Levonorgestrel is believed to stop or delay ovulation. It can also stop sperm from fertilising an egg if it has already been released.
Directions
Always take this product exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Take the tablet as soon as possible after unprotected sex or when your contraception method has failed. Take the tablet preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours.
