What is Phenergan Night Time?
Phenergan Night Time tablets are a treatment for sleepless nights and insomnia, using an ingredient called promethazine to help you get to sleep. It makes you feel drowsy or tired, making it easier for you to drift off for your much needed 8 hours of sleep. Phenergan Night can be used by adults and children over 16, and it’s an ideal solution to sleepless nights caused by exam stress, work worries, or jet lag after your holiday.
Will this treatment work with my regular medication?
If you’re taking any other medication, including herbal remedies or medicines you obtained without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Phenergan Night tablets. This especially applies if you are already taking:

Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), which are used for depression. You should not take Phenergan if you’ve taken MAOIs within the last 2 weeks

Anticholinergic medicines, which are used for IBS, asthma, or a weak bladder

Depression medications, e.g. amitriptyline

Medicines to help you fall asleep or feel relaxed, e.g. diazepam, zolpidem

Medicines for arthritis or joint pain, e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, and other NSAIDs
What’s the usual dose of Phenergan Night?
Take one or two tablets before you go to bed at night. Swallow the tablets with a sip of water. Do not take Phenergan Night for more than 7 days at a time, if your symptoms haven’t improved after 7 days you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
